mulih 3 hari shot :)

Hey all... as most of you noe... i went to Phuket, Thailand for my honeymoon... the total cost for the honeymoon was about b$3k and we stayed at 2 hotels... one was Andaman white beach hotel which was about B$300/nite including breakfast... i chose that hotel specifically for the beach...AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! the water was amazingly clear and it was a nice temperature with perfect waves! the beach itself was not packed and it felt we were on our own private island :) there were only 3 other couples there sunbathing and frolicking by the beach so it was quite cozy! also... our room had an outdoor jacuzzi and shower... hehehe it was super fun!!! =D

then we went to Sala Villa... a bit more pricey but hey u have ur own outdoor pool, bath and shower with lounge :) it costs $500/nyte but its worth it... Sala is also about privacy and they had a nice restaurant facing the beach... altho it wasnt sandy and nice to swim in... it was more of a grassy beach with super waves! great for body boarding tho! so here are some pix.

i was gonna post up pix of my new bedroom but.... unfortunately my phone has gone stupid on me! it cant read the pictures in the memory card hence i cant bluetooth it to my lappie!!! *sigh* so instead i will be talking abt the wedding costs!

first up catering... i chose Hj Zainal Catering based in Kati Mahar for all my events except Nikah. that was from Faez Fatin which is actually their relatives! i chose Hj Zainal catering as it was highly recommended... good food... good tents and they have waiters/waitresses to serve your guests drinks while waiting to eat. Not only that... they always give labih food =D a plus on my book!!! in total for all events - nikah, berbedak, sanding, ambil2an and mulih 3 hari... i paid 12k (17 kems + 2 canopies each for $120 complete with VIP seats). there were some extras which my generous sweet mom paid for such as the satay and kebab for ambil2an! yumz!

for pelamin at Ruzz enterprise... i chose a simple pelamin laila (8 feet wide) and added on extras - flowers n lights, along with an arch outside my house. i also borrowed their badak 7 warna and pakaian brunei. total - $800

my sanding dress was from Hjh Lina from Ong Sum Ping Simpang 97 blakang STPRI... ask for Eli... shes the bomb... altho stress plang hahahaha but i think its all part and parcel of wedding bliss! hehehehe they only finished my veil, scarf and dress (after amendments) on saturday night. so kepada sapa yang slalu panic... relax... ok tu! we took package B: $750 which includes pelamin for men, accessories, baju pengantin male & female (i paid extra 300 coz me buat baru with lace).

all my other dresses - nikah, berbedak, ambil2an were from Anyati's, blakang Taurean the arch. a bit pricey for some BUT guaranteed satisfaction 100%! Anyati is amazing at creating unique dresses. so make sure you try to visualise with her wat ur dream dress is!

and i had Ka Bibi who decorated my room, stairs and candles :D so PRETTY!!!! she made my room a bridal heaven! thanks ka!!! you can call her at 8893675.

for my hantaran i got it made by Emai but decorated it myself. i simply rented their bases, flowers, ribbons and kotak kotaks and lapik gangsas... for 19 gangsas.. it cost me only $202! wat a bargain!!!! if you guys mau dorang deco for u from scratch, then it will cost u $22 =D

my shoes... yes i LOVED my shoes... were from shoe lovers! yes!! its such a good treasure cove for BLINGED up shoes! a bit pricey but thank god me kawin time raya.. ada DISCOUNTS! hehehehe

hmmm apa lagi ahhh??? ok m off to honeymoon at phuket =D will take lots of pixxies for u guys!!! cheers!!!

alhamdulilah... most of the events went well without much trouble hehehehehe and 1 more to go which is the mulih 3 hari... and then... PHUKET HERE WE GOOOOO!!!!!! hehehehehehe thanks to all the wishes from everyone and thanks to everyone who came... was very happy to see all the familiar faces at the wedding... it was such a surreal out of body experience... everything just went really fast!!!! and now its all over =D m so glad that most of my preparations went well... with a couple of exceptions... TIP: get walkie talkies to make everything go easier... i didnt and it was a bit difficult to communicate with everyone. ALSO my frens werent allowed to go up and see me before me turun... and i was a bit pist bcoz of dat! i wanted them all to be with me and be happy!!!! but my aunts said it was for precaution... dalam iski dan gembira...ada jua orang dapat jadi iri hati... so baiktah tunggu and sabar saja until me turun. ok lah... :)

and to answer ur question... for my berbedak... i was wearing a purple sari... stillwaiting from Ahim to give a better pix heheheh his pix yang ia bagi made me look like a man! LOL!!!!

As i m writing this with my full on mehndi hands... hehehe and under house arrest.. watching Season1 of 90210... yes i noe.. m so ketinggalan... but yeah... cant go out so m kinda really bored. *sigh* last nite the girls came over to do our mehndi/henna... and it was oodles of fun! I did my hands and feet for $100 from Isma.. u can call her 8888518 :)

Finally got to catch up with Mal after her successful accomplishment of the SOH Gala Dinner and she brot over the CD which is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! its still on for sale at $10 a piece... do inform me if you want 1 and i'll ask her to book for u guys or something.

The berbedak night which i wore pakaian brunei was unbelievably weird! hahahahaha seriously i do not know how anyone can look good with that gear on their heads!!! it was pretty heavy and i felt like a bobble head! wenever i turnd, i wud just be going too much on one side... hehehe thats how heavy it was... and towards the end of the night, my ears HURT brabisly as the thingy was pressing down on my ears!!! and i had to pose after the berbedak ceremony and it was soooo not fun as the bracelets were heavy :( *sigh* i hope Ahim, Fadi & Mubarak got some good shots as i was sooooooo not feelin the gear!!! *sigh*
